Why did you change your name?

Paying homage to my dad, who came into my life just 2 years ago and filled my world with colour!

A retired celebrant himself, he has offered priceless guidance and support both personally and professionally.

Love you Dad xxx

I can also help you with where to begin if you decide to change you name once you are married!

How soon can we get married?

The Marriage Act requires that you must lodge a Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) with your celebrant at least one calendar month prior to the proposed marriage date.

Are you a Professional Celebrant?

Yes, as with all Authorised Marriage Celebrants appointed by the Australian Commonwealth Government's Attorney-General, I am committed to professionalism and sensitivity in the performance of my Celebrant duties and abide by a strict Code of Practice.

We definitely want to book you. What is the next step?

That’s great! I would be honoured to be your Authorised Marriage Celebrant. We will need to arrange an appointment to start the paperwork, you will need to allow about 2 hours for this meeting. As per my Statement of Fees a deposit must be paid to lock in your booking..

What other legal requirements are there?

You must be at least 18 years of age to marry in Australia. You must complete the NOIM (which I will provide). I must sight your birth certificate (if you were born in Australia) or your current passport (if you were born outside Australia). If either of you have been married before, I must see either your Divorce paper or the Death Certificate of your former spouse, whichever applies. You must have two witnesses to the ceremony who are over the age of 18 years.

Can I have input into my ceremony?

I encourage you to have as much input as you wish in the creation of your nuptials for your ceremony and I will assist you in every way to make your ceremony special for you.

When is the balance due and can we make monthly payments?

The balance is due 14 days prior to the wedding, and you can make payments of part or all the balance at any time if this suits your budgeting.

Where can we get married?

Basically, your wedding can be held just about wherever you wish subject to obvious local regulatory and safety requirements: beaches, parks, lookouts, gardens, boats, private homes, chapels, reception centres, restaurants.

Why the sunflowers?

Why not? I just love sunflowers, they are a symbol of joy, adoration, hope and longevity, with a bright yellow friendly face following the sun, how can the thought of that not brighten up your day!
